Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide weekend call coverage (1-2 weekends per month, Friday through Sunday).

• Offer strictly beeper call coverage, responding to calls within 20-30 minutes.

• Manage an average of 7-10 calls per 24-hour period.

• Supervise 2 support staff members.

What You'll Need:

• An active Texas medical license.

• Board Eligibility (within 5 years of residency).

• ATLS certification.

• Expertise in Cardiovascular Surgery for call coverage.

• Ability to handle high acuity cases.

• Experience with the EPIC EMR system.

Working Hours:

Weekend call (1-2 weekends per month, Friday 7 AM - Sunday 7 AM). This is strictly beeper call.
