What You'll Be Doing:Provide essential 24-hour call coverage for urgent and emergent cases.
Manage a caseload of 1-2 emergent surgical cases per day.
Perform a comprehensive range of Neurosurgery cases for adult and geriatric patients, including those presenting through the Emergency Department.
General neurosurgery and trauma neurosurgery cases.
Collaborate within a team that benefits from in-house Neuro IR support.
Utilize the EPIC EMR system for documentation and coordination of care.
Board Certified in Neurosurgery REQUIRED.
An Active OH License REQUIRED.
BLS and ACLS certifications REQUIRED.
Availability for coverage from 7 AM August 27th through 7 AM September 3rd is REQUIRED for consideration.
Proven expertise in managing adult and geriatric neurosurgery cases, particularly in a high-acuity trauma setting.
Strong command of the EPIC EMR system.
This is a 24-hour call role, structured for 1 week per month, from 7 AM to 7 AM. This predictable 1-week-per-month commitment allows you to maintain professional excellence while ensuring significant personal time. Weekend requirements are part of the call rotation.
